as i made a hall table it is made to sit against a wall because of this it will stick out 10mm from the wall because of the skirting. i have made a backstop to prevent items on the table from falling through this gap. to make this a cut a piece of wood to 60mm width then sketched the design i wanted. the width was determined by the width of the table top itself. i then cut around this using the band saw and sanded and planed it so the edges were smooth. i glued this onto the table top before i attached it to the table.
