Due to the fact that I made a mistake and forgot about a rail I had to add it in and since the sides had already been drilled I had to use a regular dowel joint as the festool couldn't fit in the gap. Since the rail is only used for holding the back in place and doesn't need the same strength as all the other joins. Also a butt joint wouldn't give enough strength as it would be end grain when making this I had to measure the center with a ruler and marking gauge I then drilled these with a horizontal drill. I marked the legs by putting a nipple in the hole and projecting the mark, I drilled these using a drill press.
