drawer construction

for the back of the drawer i used a housing joint. i made this using the router. this housing joint holds the 19 mm thick piece of pine. at the top of this there is a 3 mm gap so that as the drawer shuts the air trapped has an easy way to get out meaning it can slide in easier. i also planed and sanded around the face of the drawer so it fits in easily as well. when doing the routering i wore earmuffs and safety glasses and i did this in a well ventilated area to prevent dust build up.
